The HUB Leadership Team (HLT)
Our central council, the HUB Leadership Team (HLT), consists of the Executive (the President and the Vice Presidents) and the Resident Assistants as voting members, and the Residence Coordinator as a non-voting member. All meetings are open to HUB residents, unless the committee needs to move 'in-camera' to deal with confidential business. The HLT meets throughout the term in the Vault Study Room. For more information contact the HCA President at email@example.com. Meeting minutes can be found here
The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consists of the President and the Vice Presidents as voting members, and deals with administrative issues of the HCA. The committee does not have a regular meeting time; instead it meets only when there is business to take care of. All meetings are open to HUB residents, unless the committee needs to move 'in-camera' to deal with confidential business. For more information contact the HCA President at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Constitutional Investigative Review Committee (CIRC)
CIRC's job is to look after the HCA Constitution including its bylaws, policies and regulations. If you are interested in governance or politics, or are looking for experience for your resume or for law school, CIRC is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in. All meetings are open to HUB residents, and we are always looking for residents interested in serving on the committee as a voting member. CIRC meets on a weekly to monthly basis.
Did you know that just about every event or program in HUB has a committee to help organize it? If you are interested in helping plan an event or are interested in helping out with an ongoing program there is a spot for you on one or more of our programming committees! All meetings are open to HUB residents. For more information and for a list of current programming committees contact the HCA VP Programming at email@example.com.
There are generally two general meetings held each year: one in September to present the HCA annual budget, and one in February to hear speeches from executive election candidates and to discuss any other important business. All current HUB residents are encouraged to attend general meetings, as we are looking for your input and feedback at the meetings. More information about each general meeting will be available well in advance of the meeting time.
